Laminated, tinted brows look finished in photos and in person, and the lamination holds for 6 to 8 weeks. The two wear differently. Tint on the skin fades within days and the color on the hair softens over roughly 4 to 6 weeks as hairs shed, while the lamination set lasts about 6 to 8 weeks. About 1 to 2 weeks before is ideal. That leaves time for the dry period, for any tint on the skin to fade, and for the hairs to relax into a softer shape. Booking much earlier uses up part of the 6 to 8 weeks before the event.
Yes, but work around your brows for the first 24 to 48 hours. Cleanse with a damp cloth or cotton pad, avoid splashing water over the brows, and keep hot shower steam off your face. After that, wash normally and keep oily cleansers away from the brow area to protect the tint.
Yes, especially if your brows are light, because you see the full effect of lift and color at once. Tell us about sensitive skin and any past reaction to hair dye when you book, and ask about a patch test if you have reacted before.
Brush them up with a clean spoolie each morning. After the first 48 hours, a nourishing brow serum at night keeps the hairs soft. Avoid applying retinoids or peeling products over your brows, and wear SPF and a hat outdoors so the color lasts.
