What to expect, step by step
Pick a shade when you arrive. French toes or a simple design can be requested at booking, and we will tell you beforehand what is realistic for your toenails and timing.
Toenails are trimmed and shaped, dead cuticle is cleared with the e-file, and each nail surface is prepared so the gel adheres evenly.
Rough skin on the heels and around the toes is smoothed with the e-file in controlled passes for a neat, comfortable finish.
A thin base goes on first, then color and a sealing top coat, and the lamp sets each one before the next begins. After the final layer, you can walk out in any shoes.

About 2 hours. The longest-lasting toe color on our menu. Best before travel, or when you simply do not want to think about your toes for weeks.
An hour and a half. The regular polish pedicure is ideal if you like to change colors or remove polish yourself.
Around 60 minutes. A no-polish pedicure gives the same foot care with no color, a good choice between gel sets.

Regular polish on toes wears faster with daily sand and pool time, while gel is made to hold its shine much longer. It is the go-to before cruises, island weekends and family visits in season, when a mid-trip touch-up is the last thing you want.

Often 3 to 5 weeks, sometimes longer, because toenails grow slowly and face less wear than fingernails. Most clients come back when the gap at the cuticle becomes noticeable rather than because of chips.
Both include the same dry foot and toenail care. The difference is the finish: regular polish air-dries and can be removed at home, while gel is set under a lamp, is dry instantly and lasts weeks longer but needs proper removal.
Yes. Once the top coat is set under the lamp, the gel is hard, so sneakers, boots or socks will not leave marks.
Better than regular polish. Chlorine, salt and sand can dull any finish over time, so rinse your feet after swimming and apply lotion or oil around the nails to keep the skin from drying out.
You get the full dry foot care of our other pedicures, plus base, color and top coat applied in thin layers, with each one set before the next. Careful layering is what keeps gel smooth and bonded.
Book a visit and let your technician take it off. Peeling or scraping gel from toenails pulls away layers of the nail and can leave them rough and weak.
French toes or a simple design are available by request when you book. Because designs are not listed services, we check your toenails and schedule first and confirm what can be done.
One to three days before you leave is ideal. The gel is set immediately, so there is no risk of smudging on the way to the airport, and the color is at its freshest for the trip.
Color can cover changes like thickening, yellowing or lifting. If you notice any of these, or pain around a nail, see a podiatrist before your next pedicure, since we do not treat nail fungus or ingrown nails.
Toenails do not need air to stay healthy. If they look thin or dry after several gel sets, though, alternating with a no-polish pedicure gives you a few weeks to see how they are doing while heels and cuticles stay neat.
