At 1 hour 15 minutes, there is time for the massage without rushing, plus breaks whenever you need them.
Includes botanical cleanse, enzyme exfoliation, massage, hydration mask, serums and SPF.
For pregnant clients dealing with hormonal breakouts, dryness, sensitivity or puffiness who want a facial designed around pregnancy. Please get your OB or doctor's approval before booking.
A facial designed for pregnancy from the start, not a standard facial with steps removed.
The ritual uses botanical products and leaves out retinol and harsh acids, the ingredients most often flagged during pregnancy.
Extra attention goes to the face, neck and shoulders, where pregnancy tension and puffiness tend to build.
Tell us how far along you are and what feels comfortable, and we will adjust your position and pace throughout the appointment.

A calm, 75-minute visit, step by step
A hydrating, plant-based cleanse removes makeup and oil while soothing skin that pregnancy has made more reactive.
Instead of scrubs or strong acids, a mild enzyme exfoliant brightens dull skin for a softer, more even glow.
A relaxing massage focused on the face, neck and shoulders helps release tension and can ease the look of pregnancy puffiness.
A cooling hydration mask restores moisture, followed by nutrient-rich serums and a protective sunscreen, which matters because pregnancy can make skin more prone to dark patches.
How the Glow Ritual compares with other options on our menu.
Designed specifically for pregnancy, with botanical products, enzyme exfoliation and extra massage time. The simplest choice for most expecting clients.
Chemical-free blade exfoliation that is generally considered gentle; ask your OB first. See the dermaplaning facial.
The Fire & Ice facial contains retinol and microcurrent uses electrical current, so both are best saved for after your baby arrives.
Planning maternity photos or a baby shower? Book soft glam makeup to go with your glow.
Clean, shaped nails with no polish, a simple option if you prefer to skip polish while expecting.
Hormones can make facial hair more noticeable in pregnancy; a quick upper lip wax on a separate visit keeps things tidy, though skin may be more sensitive than usual.

Pregnancy in South Florida is hot work
Carrying a baby through a Boca Raton summer means heat, swelling and skin that swings between oily and dry. The Glow Ritual is built to cool and calm: a hydrating cleanse, a cooling mask and slow massage in a quiet treatment room. It also makes a thoughtful gift from a partner or friends ahead of a baby shower.
Gentle services to pair with your facial
The Glow Ritual is part of our facials menu. For bump photos or a shower, see our makeup services, and for hands that look neat without polish, try a no-polish manicure.
Gentle facials that avoid retinoids and strong acids are generally considered fine during pregnancy, but every pregnancy is different. Get your OB or doctor's approval first and tell us how far along you are. The Mother-to-Be Glow Ritual was created for exactly this situation.
Many providers prefer to wait until the second trimester, when nausea and fatigue usually ease, even for gentle treatments. Ask your OB what they recommend, and if you do book early, let us know so we can keep the visit especially gentle.
Retinoids, including retinol and tretinoin, are the main ones to avoid, along with hydroquinone and high-strength peel acids. Ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and niacinamide are generally considered pregnancy-friendly, but check any product with your doctor.
Skip treatments that use retinol, strong peels, needling or electrical current. On our menu, that means holding off on the iS Clinical Fire & Ice Facial, microcurrent, nanoneedling, DMK enzyme therapy and chemical peels until after pregnancy.
A gentle facial can keep pores clearer and skin calmer while hormones shift, and we choose products without retinoids or strong acids. It will not stop hormonal breakouts entirely. For painful or widespread acne, ask your OB or a dermatologist about pregnancy-safe options.
Melasma, often called the mask of pregnancy, shows up as brownish patches on the cheeks, forehead or upper lip. Hormones plus sun make it worse, so daily broad-spectrum SPF and a hat are the most important steps. A facial can support hydrated, even-looking skin, but melasma should be discussed with your doctor or a dermatologist.
Later in pregnancy, lying flat on your back can feel uncomfortable or make you lightheaded. Tell us, and we will adjust your position so you can relax. You can also ask for a break at any time.
Yes, and the Glow Ritual is a good choice after birth too, since postpartum skin is often dry, dull or reactive. Many of the same ingredient cautions apply while nursing, so we keep the gentle approach; check with your doctor if you are unsure.
The second trimester is often the most comfortable window, since energy tends to return and lying down is still easy. A session a week or two before a baby shower or maternity shoot also helps skin look its best in photos.
The massage focuses on the face, neck and shoulders and can help the face look less puffy for a while by encouraging circulation. Report sudden or severe swelling of the face or hands to your OB promptly, since it can signal a medical issue.
