How a visit works, from booking to aftercare
Book the facial that matches your goal, or start with the free 30-minute consultation if you would rather have an esthetician look at your skin first. Mention pregnancy, recent peels, injectables or prescription skincare when you book.
Your licensed esthetician reviews your routine and looks at your skin up close, then removes makeup, sunscreen and oil so the treatment starts on a clean surface.
This is where facials differ: extractions for congestion, enzymes or acids for exfoliation, a blade for dermaplaning, crystals or a diamond tip for resurfacing, or gentle current for a lifted look. Masks and serums are matched to how your skin looks that day.
We close with hydration and SPF, explain what to avoid for the next day or two, and suggest how often to return based on your skin rather than a fixed schedule.

A facial combines cleansing, exfoliation, masks and hydration, and most leave little or no visible downtime. A chemical peel uses a stronger acid solution to resurface the skin and may bring a few days of flaking. Compare options on our chemical peels page.

It depends on whether you want an instant lift or gradual change. Microcurrent ($115) gives a toned, lifted look that builds over a series, while the Skin Rejuvenation Facial ($220), Circadia SWiCH ($150) and DMK Enzyme Therapy ($260 to $325) focus on texture, fine lines and firmness over time.
Usually yes, with the right choice. Tell us about redness, reactions or rosacea when you book so we can steer you away from strong exfoliation and toward calmer options such as Circadia Oxygen RX. If your skin is flaring or you are under a doctor's care, check with your dermatologist first.
Pause retinol, exfoliating acids and scrubs for about 3 days before an exfoliating facial, and avoid facial waxing or sunburn that week. Tell us about any isotretinoin use in the past 6 months, recent injectables or a pregnancy. Arriving in makeup is fine; we will cleanse it off.
Home care does the daily work, but a professional facial adds what is hard to do yourself: careful extractions, controlled exfoliation, professional devices and an expert look at how your skin is changing. Freshly exfoliated skin also takes in your home products more evenly.
It is best to let your skin rest for the rest of the day, especially after extractions, dermaplaning or resurfacing. If you have plans that evening, a light mineral powder is the gentlest option. Your esthetician will tell you if your specific facial needs a longer break.
